Only a few more days before I commit to a healthier lifestyle through a Paleo eating plan and regular exercise. I am excited. I have posted on my kitchen cupboards something I found online. It is a list of 30 reasons to do a 30-day Paleo challenge and the benefits range from better sleep and mood to clearer skin and less obsession with food.
I realize that it is the mental block we have to a change like this that hampers us the most. I am giving up the foods I have loved for years but it is all for a good cause. Getting thinner and healthier means so much more than the food I put in my mouth.
So I am posting inspirational and informative messages around the apartment. And I have joined a 30-day paleo challenge group on Facebook where I will hopefully get the support I may need.
Sunday when I get up, I will take photos, not only of my body but also of my face. I want to see the difference in my skin in 30 days. I am also going to take my measurements and weigh myself. I know they say not to weight myself the entire month but that won't work for me. I will still weigh myself daily and record it. I guess I am kind of anal about that!
